Setting up the Device:

  • Find a good location for the patient counseling device. This device can be set-up directly on a counter or table using a security case/stand. Device can be set-up without stand but this is not recommended due to device portability.

  • Connect the power cord to the device and plug into power outlet.

  • Place handset near device on tablet or counter. Attach the “phone” handset cord to the port on the narrow end of the base. Plug the shorter cord into the headphone jack on the device, and into the port on the long end of the headset base.

Downloading the app:

  • Open the Apple App store on your iPad

  • Search for "TelePharm"

  • Tap  "Get" to download the app

  • Once the app has finished downloading, tap "Open" to launch it

Assigning the device to your store:

  • You will be prompted to enter a device token

  • Tokens can be found by clicking on the devices icon on your TelePharm computer dashboard:

  • Enter device token and tap "Continue"

Now your iPad is ready to call the pharmacist! Tap "Call A Pharmacist" to test it out.
